The balance of Ukrainians’ attitudes towards most Western countries has risen significantly compared with September 2025. Russia is the clear leader in terms of negative perceptions, with a balance of minus 90.5%. These findings are based on a sociological survey commissioned by the Kyiv Security Forum.
There is strong and consistent support for Ukraine in the U.S. – Petraeus
Support for Ukraine remains strong in the U.S., showing no signs of diminishing. General David Petraeus, a member of the KSF Security Council, Commander of U.S. Central Command from 2008 to 2010, and Director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency from 2011 to 2012, made this statement during the discussion titled "UKRAINE'S UNBREAKABLE GENERATION: Reflections by General Petraeus – and What Washington Sees" organized by the KSF.

The perception of US President Donald Trump among Ukrainians has fallen from -34.6% in September 2025 to -65.8% in April 2026. At the same time, opinions of the United States as a country remain positive. This is evidenced by data from a sociological survey commissioned by the Kyiv Security Forum.
