Kyiv Security Forum on December 1
On December 1, 2022 – the 31 st anniversary of the national referendum that confirmed Ukraine’s independence, territorial integrity and the inviolability of its borders – the annual Kyiv Security Forum will be held.
The main slogan of this year’s KSF is “All for Victory”. It will be a platform where prominent international and Ukrainian politicians, diplomats and experts will discuss the key challenges in defending Ukraine and strengthening international solidarity against the Russian enemy.
Among the Forum’s participants will be the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Joëlle GARRIAUD-MAYLAM; the United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria NULAND; President of the European Council in 2014-19 Donald TUSK; NATO Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security David CATTLER; four-star U.S. generals (retired) David PETRAEUS and Wesley CLARK.
The Forum will be addressed by Sviatlana TSIKHANOUSKA, President of the Belarus Coordination Council, and Alla DUDAYEVA, widow of President Dzhokhar Dudayev of Ichkeria.
Special addresses by 2022 Nobel Peace Laureate Oleksandra MATVIICHUK and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Atlantic Council Frederick KEMPE are planned.
A separate Ambassadorial panel will be held with the participation of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom Melinda SIMMONS, Ambassador of Canada Larisa GALADZA, Ambassador of Germany Anka FELDHUSEN, Ambassador of the United States Bridget A. BRINK, Ambassador of France Etienne DE PONCINS, and EU Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti MAASIKAS.
Participants from Ukraine will include the Chairman of the KSF, Prime Minister of Ukraine in 2014-2016 Arseniy YATSENYUK, Deputy Chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena KONDRATYUK, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy DANILOV, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha STEFANISHYNA, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy REZNIKOV, City Mayor of Kyiv Vitali KLITSCHKO, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat CHUBAROV, and Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mykola KNIAZHYTSKYI.
Kyiv Security Forum is Ukraine’s foremost platform for high-level international discussion about Ukrainian and global security issues. KSF was founded by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation.
