Mission of the Kyiv Security Forum
The Kyiv Security Forum was established by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation "Open Ukraine" in 2007.

Since then, KSF has become a leading international discussion platform in Ukraine on issues of war and peace.

Prominent international leaders, politicians, diplomats, experts, activists, and journalists participate in our events.
Since its establishment, we have conducted thousands of events - from annual assemblies to special occasions and hundreds of online discussions. These events are followed by millions of people in Ukraine and abroad.
The main mission of our Forum:
  • To defend the national interests of Ukraine in the world.
  • To form and expand the circle of international partners of our state.
  • To contribute to the creation of a just world order based on civilized principles and rules.
Our main tasks are Ukraine's victory over Russian imperialism, Ukraine's entry into the European Union and NATO, and the progress of our state as an influential, successful and equal participant in free international life.
main mission
We work to strengthen Atlantic alliance and collective security in the Euro-Atlantic region.

We strive for the benefit of regional partnership and ensure close political and security cooperation from Scandinavia to the Caucasus, from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea and the Balkans.

We stand with the forces of global democracy and seek the spread of democratic values worldwide.

Despite the full-scale aggression by Moscow on February 24, 2022, and the encirclement of the capital, the Kyiv Security Forum did not leave the capital for a single day and continued its work in close cooperation with our partners.

We inform the world about the situation in Ukraine and defend national interests together with a large international team of Ukraine.
Our speakers included renowned international figures such as Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, President of the United States George W. Bush, President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Prime Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt, Prime Minister of Latvia Laimdota Straujuma, Prime Ministers of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius and Saulius Skvernelis, Prime Minister of Estonia Taavi Rõivas, Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, Deputy Secretary General of NATO Alexander Vershbow, Rose Gottemoeller, and Mircea Geoană, four-star generals Wesley Clark, Philip Breedlove, and David Petraeus, as well as distinguished intellectuals such as Timothy Snyder, Francis Fukuyama, Anne Applebaum, and dozens of other prominent figures.
On May 5, 2023, the Kyiv Security Forum Security Council was established - an informal advisory group consisting of prominent international and Ukrainian figures. Its members include Anthony Abbott, the Prime Minister of Australia from 2013-2015, Andrius Kubilius, the Prime Minister of Lithuania from 1999-2000 and 2008-2012, General David Petraeus, the Commander of the United States Central Command from 2008-2010 and the Director of the CIA from 2011-2012, Taavi Rõivas, the Prime Minister of Estonia from 2014-2016, and Natalia Jaresko, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Aspen Institute in Ukraine and the Minister of Finance of Ukraine from 2014-2016.

We value cooperation with our partners, including the Atlantic Council, Chatham House, the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), the Munich Security Conference, the Riga Security Conference, the Warsaw Security Forum, the NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine, the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, and many other institutions.

Our main slogan is "Victory for Ukraine! Victory for the world!"
