Arne LIETZ

Member of the European Parliament, Germany

Arne LIETZ received his a Master’s in Modern History at Humboldt University, Berlin and University of Cape Town (South Africa).

From 2004 to 2006, he worked as a European representative of the American educational organization “Facing History and Ourselves” (Berlin, Boston, London).  In 2007-2009, he was an Academic assistant to Engelbert Wistuba, Member of the German Bundestag, Berlin and after that he consulted Eckhard Naumann, Mayor of Wittenberg.

Mr. Lietz started his political career at 2011 as a chair of the committee on Christians, SPD in Saxony-Anhalt. In 2014-2016 he was a spokesman at the committee on culture, Saxony-Anhalt SPD.

From 2015 until present, Mr. Lietz is a delegate to Party of European Socialists (PES) congress.
