Róbert ONDREJCSÁK

State Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Slovak Republik

Róbert Ondrejcsák studied politics, history and philosophy, and earned PhD degree from the International Relations. From September 2016 he serves as a State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.

Previously Mr. Ondrejcsák worked as a Director of the Strategic Policy Institute (STRATPOL) and for more than four years as a director of non-profit organization – Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA).

In 2010-2012 he was holding the position of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.

In 2007-2010 Mr. Ondrejcsák was a director of the Centre for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA) and before – in 2005-2007 – Deputy Chief of Mission, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Hungary.

Mr. Ondrejcsák was a Director of the Institute for Security and Defence Studies at the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic (2004 – 2005) and worked as an advisor to the Vice-Chair of the SVK National Council for foreign and security policy (2003-2004). Earlier Mr. Ondrejcsák was an analyst at the NATO Section of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic and worked at the Slovak Strategic Studies Centre.

He speaks English, French, Hungarian and Russian.
