Claus NEUKIRCH
Deputy Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre for Operations Service
Dr. Claus Neukirch has been serving as Deputy Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre for Operations Service since March 2012. He possesses extensive OSCE experience from his previous positions in the OSCE Mission to Moldova, including as Deputy Head of Mission (2008-2011), as the Mission’s Spokesperson (2003-2008) and as Human Dimension Officer (1996-1997). In addition, he served for a number years as a Researcher at the CORE Centre for OSCE Research (1999-2003). Dr. Neukirch holds a PhD in International Relations, specializing on Conflict Prevention and Conflict Management in the Framework of OSCE Longterm Missions, as well as a Masters Degree in Political Science and Public Law, both from Hamburg University.
