08.05.25

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will continue to provide support to Ukraine and intends to step it up.

Radmila Sekerinska, NATO Deputy Secretary General expressed this idea in her address to the 17th Annual Kyiv Security Forum “UA: UNITE AGAIN TO DEFEAT THE GLOBAL AGGRESSOR”, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation “Open Ukraine”.

NATO stands with Ukraine. We have been with you from the very start. We stand with you today. And we will continue to be with you throughout any future challenges. NATO Allies and partners have provided Ukraine with unprecedented military support, including critical air defense assets, as well as necessary financial and humanitarian assistance. NATO will continue to help Ukraine defend itself today and deter any future aggression. Our support is clear and concrete,” she assured.

Radmila Sekerinska also mentioned that NATO Allies continue to step up their support for Ukraine.

In the first three months of 2025 alone, they have pledged more than 20 billion euros in security assistance to Ukraine. Many countries, in particular, through efforts of France and the United Kingdom, have demonstrated their willingness, determination and ability to take on greater responsibility and help secure peace when the time comes,” she emphasized.
The NATO Deputy Secretary General also emphasized the bravery of Ukrainian defenders.

“I saw the faces of courage. These were the faces of the Ukrainian veterans I met. They embody the indomitable spirit of a proud nation. “When the Russian offensive began, these brave warriors did not flinch - and Ukraine stood firm. The men and women of this country serve with courage, strength and determination. It is important to remember their service and their sacrifice,” she concluded.

The Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk “Open Ukraine” foundation, is the main platform in Ukraine to discuss issues of war and peace, national and global security.
