Ukrainian military medical system can become a precedent for future resilience and restoration.
This was stressed by Viktoria Avicenna Kovach, Chief of the Medical Department, 3 rd Armed Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the 17 th Annual Kyiv Security Forum “UA: UNITE AGAIN TO DEFEAT THE GLOBAL AGGRESSOR”, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk “Open Ukraine” Foundation.

“We save human lives as we know full well who we fight for. The greatest value that we defend is a person, a human. Its life, health, dignity. When we speak about medicine we speak about dignity, first and foremost”, - she said.
The medic also stressed that each offensive is backed by a team of military medics ready to save every soldier’s life.
“Our capabilities depend not only on how we fight, but also on how we care of each other … We need additional supplies and training as life and death often depend on those. Ukrainian medical system is formed at the backdrop of exceptional challenges, and with a proper support from international community we can become a showcase for future resilience and restoration”, — Viktoria Kovach stressed.
She also added that Ukraine’s role in countering imperialistic threats is well recognized by the whole civilized world. It is only in unity that it is possible to ensure democracy and freedom not only for Ukrainians, but for the whole world.
The Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk's Open Ukraine Foundation, is the main platform in this country for discussing issues of war and peace, national and global security.
