All destruction and death of civilians in Ukraine today result from Russian aggression that could be stopped by acting in unison, as people themselves demonstrate their strong will and determination.

Svitlana Tolmach, a bank employee and beauty industry popularizer, the survivor of Russian missile strike on a residential area in Kryvyi Rih on April 4, 2025, voiced this idea at the 17th Annual Kyiv Security Forum “UA: UNITE AGAIN TO DEFEAT THE GLOBAL AGGRESSOR,” organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation “Discover Ukraine.”

“I survived miraculously, and am grateful to God…. I believe that all power, strength and determination are in our people. “If you really want to help, together we can stop all fear and horrors happening in this country,” she said.

The Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk “Open Ukraine” foundation, is the main platform in Ukraine to discuss issues of war and peace, national and global security.
