Whether in the form of confiscation or reparations, in any case, it is our money,’ stated Arseniy Yatsenyuk.According to him, the announcement of the ‘plan’ has caused a positive reaction for Ukraine, ‘mobilising’ the EU and the US: ‘all cards are on the table’. He also added that the American people continue to support Ukraine. ‘Both the Republican and Democratic parties and their voters support Ukraine. The Americans will have midterm elections next year. And this has a direct impact on the mandate of each member of Congress,‘ Arseniy Yatsenyuk added.At the same time, he warned that Putin is not ready for negotiations and is ’trying to outplay the American administration. ‘Putin will never take any points into consideration; he is not ready to sit down at any negotiating table. As long as the Americans do not put pressure on India and China, which consume 85% of Russian oil, he will continue to receive sufficient income to carry on with the war,’ the former prime minister emphasised.

Despite this, these companies remain operational and continue to grow. "We are seeing that the champions of ‘white’ business are themselves calling for tackling the shadow economy. When the enemy targets our thermal power plants, it is our resilience they are trying to break. The National Bank factors this reality into every decision we make. Tough months lie ahead, but our country stands on three pillars: people who do not surrender, systems that continue to function, and decisions that are made before the strike — not after it. Energy is not only about megawatts; it is about belief in life itself,” Andriy Pyshnyi said.Turning to the economic outlook, the NBU Governor noted that real GDP growth is expected to reach 1.9% in 2025 and around 2% in 2026. So no doubt that Putin is stepping President Trump along,’ the former prime minister said.Arseniy Yatsenyuk also outlined four goals of the Kremlin: ‘The first is to postpone and circumvent sanctions. The second one is to block the seizure of the Russian assets. The third is to drive a wedge between the European Union and the United States. And the fourth is to show everyone that he [Putin] is acting in good faith, but he doesn't have faith,’ the Chairman of the KSF emphasised.The former prime minister also warned against the US refusing to support Ukraine. ‘If Americans turn their back on Ukraine, this would be a disaster not only for Ukraine and for Europe, not only for NATO and for the free world. This would be a disaster of a magnitude bigger than the notorious withdrawal of Americans from Afghanistan. This would be a complete humiliation of the United States of America,’ he stressed.At the same time, Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasised that the US needs to provide Ukraine with additional military capabilities to strengthen its positions. ‘The Americans have to make Ukrainians stronger in order for us to have a better negotiating position. And it would be easier for Americans to drag Putin to the negotiating table and get real concessions out of Putin, but not out of Ukraine,’ said the Chairman of the KSF.
