World democracies must remain united to support Ukraine in countering Russia on the battlefield and in the war of information.
This was the message of Lt. General J.P.R.Prevost, Chief Professional Conduct and Culture of the Canadian Armed Forces at the 17 th Annual Kyiv Security Forum “UA: UNITE AGAIN TO DEFENT THE GLOBAL AGGRESSOR”, ORGANIZED BY THE Arseniy Yatsenyuk “Open Ukraine” Foundation.
“Democracies do what they need to... Our democracies managed to get together
military equipment and armaments to support Ukraine. I believe this unity must be
continued. And we hear this signal, this message here today – we must remain united and join forces in this battle”, - he mentioned.
According to Lt. General Prevost, this said fight is not only about physical countering the occupants on the battlefield but waging the information battle against fear and scaremongering.
“One should speak bout strategy not only vis-à-vis fighting in the battlefield, but
liaising it with other activities, for instance, subversive ones, that proliferate across
the world”, - Lt. General added.
“We must go on. Unity is not a one-time activity”, - he summed up.
The Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk's Open Ukraine
Foundation, is the main platform in this country for discussing issues of war and peace, national and global security.
